First Presbyterian Church

of Dixon, Illinois

Welcome to our website!

On this site you can find general information regarding our worship and work.

We invite you to follow us on Facebook for daily news; and YouTube for our worship services.

Our Sunday service is at 9:30 a.m. with coffee & conversation following.

We invite you to take a moment to pause for reflection and prayer at our outdoor prayer wall.  The wall is located facing the old courthouse.

You are invited to sit a spell in the courtyard, and to tie your ribbon onto the wall.  Ribbons are located in the letterbox on the wall.

Accessibility accommodations: We have an entrance without stairs from the parking lot.  We have an elevator to allow access to the lower level.  We provide audio amplifiers for individual use.  We use a screen during our services to have the text from our responses and hymns larger.  We have a main floor restroom with a changing table.  There are a number of couches around the main floor for sitting for parents and children.  Our doors are not automatic, but on Sunday morning we have greeters stationed to help hold doors.  We are not a tree nut/peanut/gluten-free building, but we do make accommodations for these allergies with our Communion elements.  If there is a specific need you have, please let us know and we will do our best to make an accommodation.
